Who will be my Photographer?
When you enquire, just let us know if you’ve got a particular photographer in mind. We’ll always do our best to match you with your preferred person, but it does depend on availability (especially in peak wedding season).
If your first choice isn’t free, don’t worry, our team all shoot in the same relaxed, natural Boho Photo style. Whoever you’re booked with will help you feel comfortable and will capture gorgeous, genuine moments.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We’re Devon-based (near Honiton), but we’re very happy to travel across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset...and beyond for the right shoot.
Travel is free within 15 miles of Honiton
Beyond that, travel may be charged depending on your package/location (and for longer journeys, accommodation may be needed)
If you tell us your venue or postcode, we can confirm any travel costs upfront so there are no surprises.
When will we get our photos?
You’ll receive a link to your private online gallery within 6–8 weeks (often sooner, depending on the time of year and how busy wedding season is).
From your gallery you can:
Download your images
Share the link with friends and family
How many pictures will we receive?
It varies depending on the shoot, the location, the number of guests (for weddings), and how the day flows — but we always focus on quality over quantity. We won’t pad your gallery with loads of near-identical photos (because nobody wants to scroll through 200 versions of the same moment).
As a rough guide:
1-hour family shoot: usually 30–50 edited images
Weddings: typically 400–700 edited images, depending on hours booked and what’s happening on the day
Who owns the copyright?
Copyright stays with Boho Photo / the photographer, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
You’re absolutely welcome to use your images for personal use (printing, sharing with friends/family, social media, etc.). The only thing we ask is that the photos aren’t sold or used commercially (for example, by a business) without written permission.
How do we go ahead and book?
Nice and easy — just get in touch via the enquiry form or give us a call. Once we’ve had a chat and confirmed your date/package, we’ll send you:
Your booking invoice (deposit to secure the date)
Your booking terms & conditions
Paying the deposit confirms your booking and means you’re happy with the terms.
And honestly — the “terms” bit sounds scarier than it is. It’s just there to protect everyone and make sure we’re all on the same page if anything unexpected happens.
What should we wear for a family shoot?
The main thing is to wear something you feel comfortable and confident in — that always looks best in photos.
Once you’re booked in, we’ll send you a PDF style guide with loads of easy tips (what colours work well, how to coordinate without being too “matchy”, and what to avoid). If you want to run outfit ideas past us, you’re more than welcome to.
What happens if it rains on the day of my shoot
No stress — if the weather isn’t playing ball, we can reschedule your shoot with no problem.
We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and have a quick chat near the time to decide what’s best. Sometimes we can work around light drizzle, but if it’s properly miserable (or unsafe), we’ll simply move it to a better day.
Do you offer prints or albums?
Prints are included on our Luxury Package.
