Welcome to Boho Photo! We're so glad you're here. These Terms & Conditions outline how we work together to capture your special moments. Please read through carefully – we've tried to keep things clear and straightforward.
1. Booking & Services
When you book with Boho Photo, you're engaging us as your exclusive photographer for your wedding or family session. We'll provide the photography services we've agreed upon, including:
- Coverage for the hours specified in your chosen package
- Professional photography equipment and expertise
- Edited digital images delivered via online gallery
- Any additional services outlined in your specific agreement
Exclusivity: Once booked, we'll be your sole photographer for the event unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.
2. Pricing & Payment
Package Pricing
All pricing is confirmed in your personalised quote and includes any applicable VAT.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. This deposit:
- Is due upon signing your contract
- Reserves your date exclusively for you
- Is credited toward your total package price
- Compensates us for turning down other bookings on your date
Payment Schedule
- Deposit: Due upon booking
- Final Balance: Due 30 days before your event date
- Late payments may incur additional fees
Additional Hours
If you'd like to extend coverage on the day, additional hours are available at our hourly rate (specified in your contract).
3. Your Responsibilities
To help us deliver the best possible service, we ask that you:
Permissions & Access
- Obtain any necessary permissions from venues or locations
- Inform us of any photography restrictions at your venue
- Ensure we have appropriate access to key moments and locations
Meals
For sessions longer than 6 hours, please provide a meal for our photographer(s) or cover reasonable meal expenses.
Shot Lists & Timeline
While we'll capture all the important moments, sharing your timeline and any must-have shots helps us plan effectively.
4. Our Commitment to You
Professional Service
We'll provide our services in a professional, efficient manner that doesn't interfere with your celebrations.
Equipment & Backup
We bring professional equipment and backup gear to ensure nothing is missed.
Team Members
If we bring assistants or second shooters, they'll follow the same professional standards and your venue's requirements.
5. Artistic Style
Our Approach
We shoot in a natural, relaxed, documentary-style with creative portraits. You've chosen us based on our portfolio, and we'll deliver images consistent with that style.
Creative Control
While we welcome your input and ideas, we retain final artistic judgement on composition, editing, and image selection. Our goal is always to create beautiful images you'll treasure.
Not Grounds for Cancellation
Disagreement with our artistic style or aesthetic choices isn't a valid reason for contract termination or refund requests.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
By You (Client)
- Minimum Notice: 30 days before your event date
- Cancellations: Your deposit and any payments made are non-refundable
- Rescheduling: We'll do our best to accommodate your new date, subject to availability
If we can't accommodate your rescheduled date despite our best efforts, this will be treated as a cancellation.
By Us (Photographer)
In the unlikely event we can't fulfill your booking, we'll:
- Arrange a qualified replacement photographer (with your approval)
- If you don't approve the replacement, we'll refund all payments in full
- Have no further liability beyond the refund
Force Majeure
Neither of us will be held liable for circumstances beyond our control (illness, natural disasters, pandemics, etc.). If such circumstances persist beyond 60 days, either party may terminate the agreement, and prepaid fees (excluding the deposit) will be refunded within 15 days.
7. Image Ownership & Usage
Copyright
We (Boho Photo) retain full copyright and ownership of all images created during your session.
Our Usage Rights
We may use your images for:
- Our portfolio and website
- Social media and marketing materials
- Photography competitions and publications
- Promotional purposes
By booking with us, you grant permission for this usage. If you have concerns about specific images being shared publicly, please let us know.
8. Your Usage Rights (Personal License)
You receive a personal, non-commercial license to use your images for:
✓ Personal social media posts
✓ Prints for your home
✓ Gifts for family and friends
✓ Personal albums and scrapbooks
✓ Holiday cards and family newsletters
Please don't:
- Remove our watermarks or copyright information
- Use images for commercial purposes or resale
- Alter images significantly without permission
- Submit to competitions or publications without our consent
For commercial usage or publication rights, please contact us to discuss licensing options.
9. Delivery & Liability
Delivery Timeline
We aim to deliver your final edited gallery within the timeframe specified in your contract (typically 6-12 weeks for weddings, 2-4 weeks for family sessions).
Delays
We're not liable for delivery delays caused by:
- Technology failures beyond our control
- Service interruptions
- Delays in receiving information or decisions from you
Image Quality
While we take every care, we're not responsible for images that don't meet expectations due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., guest camera flashes interfering, poor venue lighting, uncooperative weather for outdoor sessions).
Maximum Liability
Our total liability for any issues is limited to the total amount you've paid for our services.
10. Indemnification
You agree to hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your event or our provision of services, except where caused by our negligence or breach of contract.
11. General Terms

Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Entire Agreement
Your signed contract and these Terms & Conditions represent our complete agreement and supersede any previous discussions or agreements.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated to existing clients with bookings.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
